"I have a history
of neck problems from working on computers. Recently I slept with
my neck exposed to the cold, resulting in a flare up of my old neck
injury. I was unable to move my neck or head without severe pain
and tablets did not help. Despite stretching, applied heat and
sleep the pain continued on for a week, at which point I sought
help from Lena at inner outer health. She worked on my shoulders,
neck and back, providing immediate relief and the following morning
I was able to get out of bed with ease. After one, more follow up
visit and attending to the exercises Lena provided I was mobile and
free of pain again.
I find Lena caring, skilful and thorough – I wouldn’t hesitate
to recommend her services to anyone suffering from acute or chronic
pain."

"I was highly
recommended to Lena Yammine through a work colleague. This
has turned out to be one of the best recommendations I have ever
received.
After many years of constant muscle and joint stiffness and
fatigue and consultations with varied tactile therapists I have
finally found relief.
After my first consultation, the results were quite
amazing. All stiffness and fatigue has virtually disappeared
and now I am able to focus on my posture and enjoy my daily
activities with great pleasure.
I continue my sessions with Lena purely as a preventative; her
professionalism and attention to detail are quite outstanding.
Thank you Lena."

"In 2006, I
developed a temperomandibular dysfunction (TMJ) and have been
treated by numerous health care providers since that time with very
little effect. Several months ago, I was recommended to Lena.
The treatment she initiated allows me to now open my mouth to 35mm,
compared to 25 mm when treatment was commenced. I have had a
reduction in the number of headaches and am enjoying the benefits
of being able to move my jaw freely (for example, eating
apples).
Thank you Lena! I am thrilled with the results".

"I have for many
years suffered from neck and back pain and frequent headaches.
After much frustration and trying many different treatments, I
have found regular Myotherapy to be the best way to manage what had
become a chronic problem.
Since commencing treatment, I have had a significant reduction
in the frequency and severity of my headaches as well as an overall
improvement in the way my neck and back feels on a day-to-day
basis."
"I first sought
treatment from Lena Yammine of inner outer health because of
chronic pain in my left hip. This had deteriorated to the
point where I could only walk for 20 to 30 meters before needing to
rest for 5 to 10 minutes until the level of pain subsided enough
for me to continue.
On my fist visit, Lena did a careful assessment, and diagnosed
Bursitis. The treatment consisted primarily of targeted
intensive massage, together with specific stretching exercises that
I did between treatments.
I got some relief after the first treatment, and my symptoms
improved, and ultimately completely disappeared over a course of
five weekly treatments.
I now visit inner outer health for a maintenance treatment once
a month. I have no hesitation in recommending Myotherapy, and
in particular, Lena Yammine at inner outer health."

"When I first
went to Inner Outer Health I was unsure as to what benefits I would
get. I hoped the treatments would help my lower back pain and
headaches, but what I didn’t expect was through the thorough
consultations I not only got relief in my lower back and head but I
also started to experience relief from my debilitating asthma which
has plagued me for the last two years. I am able to reduce my
medication immediately after myotherapy treatment, and have been
able to reduce my overall medication on an ongoing basis."
I cannot express in words how wonderful inner outer health is.
The individual care, professionalism, follow up and passion
for what they do means they stand out from any other health care
practitioners I have been too."

"I went to “inner
outer health” after suffering lower back pain for a number of
months. I had gotten to the point where even turning in bed caused
me pain and so I had started to suffer from having a broken sleep
every night. After only one session, I felt an enormous difference
in my pain and stiffness levels. I have had four treatments to
date, and on Lena’s recommendation, also started seeing an
osteopath. I now sleep through the night, and have had only
occasional moments of back pain, which are much reduced in
intensity and duration. I will continue to have ongoing treatment,
as required, to prevent ever going back to the way I was before I
started."

"Having two small
children wanting to be carried and a niggling injury from a number
of years ago, Lena has been able to target and effectively treat
the areas that cause me trouble. I would highly recommend
her."

"I found out
about myotherapy in Sydney and when I moved down to Melbourne, I
wanted to find a myotherapist in my local area. That is how I came
across inner outer health. From the initial consultation Lena made
me feel comfortable and was very thorough in her examination, she
seemed to know what she was doing and that prompted me to come
back. I had weekly treatments as I had constant headaches due to
tightness in my neck and shoulders. Once the pain had reduced I
only needed treatment once, a fortnight and I now attend the clinic
once a month for maintenance. Lena also gave me home exercises to
do to improve my flexibility and gave me suggestions on what pillow
to use to help my neck during sleeping.
There are few practitioners, who really care about helping their
patients to be pain free and not just to make money and I found
that at inner outer health."

"Myotherapy has
enabled me to achieve both pain and stress relief. Lena has taught
me how to banish and manage the pain I was experiencing in the
back, shoulders and neck. Her treatment involves a developing
knowledge of the client alongside her skilled deep tissue
treatment. Recently I was given the official diagnosis of
fybromyalgia and I have experience immediate and ongoing relieve of
all pain associated with the neck, shoulders, back arms, wrist and
hands. My GP is very happy with how myotherapy has worked and is
encouraging the treatment. I enjoy Lena’s friendly and intuitive
interview before appointment begin and sometimes I actually fall
asleep during the myotherapy treatment. After a treatment, I feel
wonderful and I am pain free and a lot less tense. I feel very
fortunate to have discovered the benefits of the myotherapy, both
physical and psychological. I would recommend it to anyone for pain
management as well as deep relaxation."

"Myotherapy is my
‘miracle cure’!! At 25 years of age and suffering from chronic
back, shoulder, feet and knee pain for years, I had tried
chiropractic treatment, physiotherapy, remedial massage, osteopathy
and acupuncture. I found these treatments to provide only
short-term relief, so I kept searching for something, which would
enable me to be pain free. Further research led me to discover
Myotherapy. I was amazed by the prospect of a treatment, which
could increase blood flow, restore mobility and assist in the
prevention of muscular injuries and pain. Somewhat sceptical, and
thinking it must be ‘too good to be true’ I decided to contact
inner outer health for an initial consultation. Lena Yammine takes
a considerable interest in every one of her clients and has
impressed me beyond belief from day one with her knowledge of the
body and the role every muscle, tendon, ligament and bone plays.
After three months of treatment with Lena, Myotherapy has changed
my life for the better, and provided me with a real solution to
achieve a better quality of life – a pain free life!!"

“With arthritic
like hands that were beginning to curl and tender feet that barely
supported my body first thing in the morning, the new injury to my
arm brought more frustration than actual pain.
At 50 plus, I still wanted to keep my part time cleaning job for
several more years but the likelihood seemed more remote as each
year passed.
Exercising at the gym had been reduced to low impact classes
only and I’d given up on my daily walks a year ago.
My handicraft work had ceased to exist and my latest found
interest in the family tree looked like ending also as my arm
injury kept flaring up after using the computer key board.
Fortunately for me, when the light at the end of the tunnel was
beginning to fade, my girlfriend mentioned her success with her
back after several visits to a Myotherapist.
A quick search of the internet brought me to inner outer health
where Lena, a Myotherapist began to sort my problems out.
Lena worked on my injured arm and extended the work down to my
hands, giving me some exercises to do at home using both my hands
and arms. The pain and inflammation slowly subsided and by
the third visit I was able to knit more than two or three rows at a
time, something I had not achieved for a long time.
On my fourth visit I decided to see what could be gained by
having my feet attended to and was pleasantly surprised to find
that a tender spot under my right foot, that no amount of
cushioning could relieve, had totally disappeared.
I’m now going to keep up a maintenance program with my therapy
so I can continue to do the things I enjoy.
I’m going to start my walks again an up my gym program and
continue with my handcrafts. How easy it is to forget that it
was an arm injury that brought me here and the benefits I gained to
my hands and feet was just a bonus.”
