Floatation Therapist / Receptionist
Kaylene has had a varied career and brings a wide range of experience. Having completed an AFL Sports Ready Traineeship and VICFIT qualifications after finishing high school and working in the Fitness industry for a number of years Kaylene then moved on to Work Place Training. Time for another change and working Full-time in an accounts position at a leading sporting goods distributor for 10 years Kaylene wanted another challenge.
In 2012 (whilst still working full time), she started a Diploma of Beauty Therapy, which led her to find out about Floatation Therapy as she chose that for one of her major assignments in her final year. Having completed her studies and then having her son another new challenge was needed.
Kaylene having a keen interest in floatation therapy after focusing on it in her studies is now happy sharing her knowledge and benefits of floating and how you can enhance your own enjoyment of life by incorporating floating into your relaxation techniques, and finding a deeper feeling of inner peace and tranquillity.
Floatation Therapist / Receptionist
Louise is one of our receptionists at Inner Outer Health. She was inspired to apply for a position here by her wonderful past experiences with floatation tanks. She’s a regular floater and brings her passion for floating to her work. She loves guiding our float tank customers and making sure they get the most out of their experience. It’s amazing to see people emerge afterwards looking so relaxed and refreshed, and there’s nothing else that’s as relaxing as an hour or two of doing absolutely nothing in a floatation tank! Watch this space for Louise's float experience that she would love to share with you.
Her other line of work is writing and editing. She studied Arts at Melbourne University and followed it with further study in editing and creative writing. She works freelance doing editing of all kinds—blogs, academic writing, fiction—and gets enormous satisfaction from helping a writer bring out the best in their work. It’s a truly collaborative process, and a lot of fun.
In her down time, she loves to make music, paint and write fiction, and over the last six months she has also become obsessed with yoga, maintaining a daily practice. These are all areas that a regular floating practice has enriched. The increased mind/body/spirit harmony that floating can bring has enormous rewards for any creative practice, as well as for fitness other physical pursuits. Louise is also a keen cook.
